At Gnosis Internacional we process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and other applicable European data protection legislation. This policy describes what data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you can exercise.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data processed through the Gnosis Internacional platform, regardless of the user's country of residence, given the worldwide nature of the service. As a general framework we apply European GDPR standards.

Data we process

Purposes of processing
We process your data to: (a) provide the service (registration, authentication, bilingual reading, reading progress, downloads); (b) manage your account and communicate with you; (c) improve and secure the Platform; (d) comply with legal obligations; and (e), only with your consent, send you informational or marketing communications and perform non-essential analytics.
Legal basis
Processing is based, depending on the case, on: performance of a contract (provision of the service), user consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), compliance with legal obligations, and Gnosis Internacional's legitimate interest (security and service improvement).
Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, where applicable, for the statutory limitation periods that apply. Account data is retained while the account remains active; you may request its deletion at any time from your user dashboard.
Automated decisions
Gnosis Internacional does not make decisions based solely on automated processing of data, including profiling, that produce legal effects significantly affecting the user.
Data recipients
Your data may be shared with service providers acting as data processors (hosting, transactional e-mail, analytics), always under a contract ensuring GDPR compliance, as well as with competent authorities when there is a legal obligation to do so.
International transfers
If any provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will be carried out applying the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (for example, standard contractual clauses or European Commission adequacy decisions).
Rights of data subjects
You may exercise, at any time, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to privacy@gnosis-internacional.org or from the privacy section of your account. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Data accuracy
The user guarantees that the data provided is accurate and undertakes to keep it up to date, informing Gnosis Internacional of any changes.
