Incuestionablemente la charla interior equivocada es la "Causa Causorum" de muchos estados psíquicos inarmónicos y desagradables en el presente y también en el futuro.

Unquestionably, wrong inner chatter is the "Causa Causorum" of many inharmonious and unpleasant psychic states in the present and also in the future.

Obviamente esa vana palabrería insustancial de charla ambigua y en general toda plática perjudicial, dañina, absurda, manifiesta en el mundo exterior, tiene su origen en la conversación interior equivocada.

Obviously, that vain, insubstantial babble of ambiguous chatter and in general all harmful, damaging, absurd talk, manifest in the external world, has its origin in the wrong inner conversation.

Se sabe que existe en la Gnosis la practica esotérica del silencio interior; esto lo conocen nuestros discípulos de "Tercera Cámara".

It is known that in Gnosis the esoteric practice of inner silence exists; our "Third Chamber" disciples know this.

No está de más decir con entera claridad que el silencio interior debe referirse específicamente a algo muy preciso y definido.

It is not superfluous to say with complete clarity that inner silence must refer specifically to something very precise and defined.

Cuando el proceso del pensar se agota intencionalmente durante la meditación interior profunda, se logra el silencio interior; más no es esto lo que queremos explicar en el presente capítulo.

When the thinking process is intentionally exhausted during deep inner meditation, inner silence is achieved; but this is not what we want to explain in the present chapter.

Truly, we are talking right now about a very different type of inner silence. It is not about something vague and general...

Queremos practicar el silencio interior en relación con algo que ya esté en la mente, persona, suceso, asunto propio o ajeno, lo que nos contaron, lo que hizo fulano, etc., pero sin tocarlo con la lengua interior, sin discurso intimo...

We want to practise inner silence in relation to something that is already in the mind, a person, event, personal or foreign matter, what they told us, what so-and-so did, etc., but without touching it with the inner tongue, without intimate discourse...

Aprender a callar no solamente con la lengua exterior, sino también, además, con la lengua secreta, interna, resulta extraordinario, maravilloso.

Learning to keep quiet not only with the outer tongue, but also, in addition, with the secret, internal tongue, is extraordinary, marvellous.

Muchos callan exteriormente, mas con su lengua interior desollan vivo al prójimo. La charla interior venenosa y malévola, produce confusión interior.

Many keep quiet externally, but with their inner tongue they flay their neighbour alive. Venomous and malevolent inner chatter produces inner confusion.

Si se observa la charla interior equivocada se verá que está hecha de verdades a medias, o de verdades que se relacionan entre si de un modo más o menos incorrecto, o algo que se agregó o se omitió.

If wrong inner chatter is observed, it will be seen that it is made of half-truths, or of truths that relate to each other in a more or less incorrect way, or something that was added or omitted.

Desgraciadamente nuestra vida emocional se fundamenta exclusivamente en la "auto-simpatía".

Unfortunately, our emotional life is founded exclusively on "self-sympathy".

Para colmo de tanta infamia sólo simpatizamos con nosotros mismos, con nuestro tan "querido Ego", y sentimos antipatía y hasta odio con aquellos que no simpatizan con nosotros.

To top off so much infamy, we only sympathise with ourselves, with our so "beloved Ego", and we feel antipathy and even hatred for those who do not sympathise with us.

Nos queremos demasiado a si mismos, somos narcisistas en un ciento por ciento, esto es irrefutable, irrebatible

We love ourselves too much, we are one hundred percent narcissistic, this is irrefutable, unassailable.

En tanto continuemos embotellados en la "auto-simpatía", cualquier desarrollo del Ser, se hace algo más que imposible.

As long as we continue bottled up in "self-sympathy", any development of the Being becomes somewhat more than impossible.

Necesitamos aprender a ver el punto de vista ajeno. Es urgente saber ponernos en la posición de los otros.

We need to learn to see the other's point of view. It is urgent to know how to put ourselves in the position of others.

"Así que, todas las cosas que queráis que los hombres hagan con vosotros, así también haced vosotros con ellos". (Mateo: VII, 12)

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them". (Matthew: VII, 12)

Lo que verdaderamente cuenta en estos estudios es la manera como los hombres se comportan interna e invisiblemente los unos con los otros.

What truly counts in these studies is the way men behave internally and invisibly towards one another.

Desafortunadamente y aunque seamos muy corteses, hasta sinceros a veces, no hay duda de que invisible e internamente nos tratamos muy mal los unos a los otros.

Unfortunately, and even though we may be very polite, even sincere at times, there is no doubt that invisibly and internally we treat each other very badly.

Gentes aparentemente muy bondadosas, arrastran diariamente a sus semejantes hacia la cueva secreta de si mismos, para hacer con éstos, todo lo que se les antoje. (Vejaciones, burla, escarnio, etc.)

Apparently very kind people daily drag their fellowmen to the secret cave of themselves, to do with them whatever they please. (Vexations, mockery, derision, etc.)
