Si los Padres y Maestros no se conocen a sí mismos, sino son capaces de comprender al niño, a la niña, si no saben entender a fondo sus relaciones con estas criaturas que comienzan á vivir, si solo se preocupan por cultivar el intelecto de sus educandos, como podremos crear una nueva clase de educación?

If Parents and Teachers do not know themselves, if they are not capable of understanding the boy, the girl, if they do not know how to thoroughly understand their relationships with these creatures who are beginning to live, if they only worry about cultivating the intellect of their students, how can we create a new kind of education?

El niño, el alumno, la alumna, va a la Escuela a recibir orientación consciente, pero si los Maestros, las Maestras, son de criterio estrecho, conservadores, reaccionarios, retardatarios, así será el estudiante, la estudiante.

The child, the student, goes to School to receive conscious orientation, but if the Teachers are narrow-minded, conservative, reactionary, backward, so will the student be.

Los Educadores deben reeducarse, conocerse a sí mismos, revisar todos sus conocimientos, comprender que estamos entrando en una Nueva Era. Transformándose los educadores, se transforma la educación pública.

Educators must re-educate themselves, know themselves, review all their knowledge, understand that we are entering a New Age. By transforming the educators, public education is transformed.

EDUCAR al EDUCADOR es lo más difícil porque todo aquel que ha leído mucho, todo aquel que tiene título todo aquel que tiene que enseñar, que trabaja como maestro de Escuela, ya es como es, su mente está embotellada en las cincuenta mil teorías que ha estudiado y ya no cambia ni a cañonazos.

EDUCATING the EDUCATOR is the most difficult thing because everyone who has read a lot, everyone who has a degree, everyone who has to teach, who works as a School teacher, is already the way they are, their mind is bottled up in the fifty thousand theories they have studied and they will not change even with cannon fire.
